Diving in Garden of the Queens Only

For those joining us for diving in Gardens of the Queen only, it’s easiest to fly to Panama City, Panama (PTY) on Copa Airlines via one of the following U.S. gateway cities on December 25, then fly Copa from Panama City (PTY) to Santa Clara, Cuba (SNU) on the morning of December 26:

  • Denver (DEN)
  • San Francisco (SFO)
  • Los Angeles (LAX)
  • Las Vegas (LAS)
  • Houston (IAH)
  • New Orleans (MSY)
  • Orlando (MCO)
  • Tampa (TPA)
  • Fort Lauderdale (FLL)
  • Miami (MIA)
  • San Juan (SJU)
  • Chicago (ORD)
  • Boston (BOS)

When you fly from one of these gateway cities, you can purchase your roundtrip ticket online yourself at If you’re connecting in the gateway from another city, we recommend purchasing that ticket on United Airlines for ease of baggage transfer, and allowing yourself at least three hours to connect.

Alternatively, you can fly from Toronto (YYZ) to Cayo Coco, Cuba (CCC) nonstop on the morning of December 26 on WestJet flight 2504.

Even if you fly to Cuba via a third nation, your travel is still legal and authorized under the OFAC license for educational workshops. You can also fly to Havana on December 25 – just be prepared for a six-hour early morning transfer by vehicle the next morning.
